Shapes

In room 5  for maths we made a Screencastify about shapes. We had to pick a buddy and my buddy was Rawiri.

On Tuesday 28 of August our school had an author visit our school and her
name was Jenny Sommervell. Here are some of the books that she wrote.

Line of Symmetry

In room 5 for maths we made shapes and the lines of symmetry were in the middle. To make the line of symmetry we had to fold a square piece of paper in half. Then we had to draw a straight lines and  cut the shapes and
then we unfolded the shapes.The shapes that we made had three sides, four sides and
more than four sides. We had to draw a line in the middle of the shapes. We put the lines there so it splits the

shapes in half. Here is Rawiris ,Blakes and my shapes.
