I'm Evelyn and I will be working with the Summer Learning Journey team for 2018-2019 to read and follow amazing blog posts like yours! I am so excited to read what pops into that wonderful brain of yours and hope you have fun on this journey!
Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! I love the image and colours you have chosen to represent your facts, well done Chloe! I have lived here my whole life and did not know about your second fact so thank you for telling me more about our country. That's a lot of butter and cheese! Do you like to put butter on your toast or cheese on your food? I enjoy cheese on my food and especially on my pizza! Please remember to make sure you put the information into your own words. You are absolutely correct, the largest city is Auckland and it's where I live! Auckland is very different to the other cities of New Zealand. There are less farm land and more shopping malls. Have you ever been to Auckland? We have the Sky Tower here, it's the tallest freestanding tower in the Southern Hemisphere so it's really high! Are you scared of heights? Do you think you would like to go up the Sky Tower? I've been up twice and the view is great! You can also bungy jump off the side of the tower but I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to do that. Would you ever bungy jump?
It's great to see you using images to illustrate your blog posts. Every time that we use an image on our blog, it's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful. You can check it out here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1VKjkMGwBrk2YI6Vtmg91OAQljr_T3ZSV6YZtu6MWFNM/edit You will need to follow these instructions to earn full points for any Summer Learning Journey activity that has asked you to post an image.
Hi Chloe, I have lived in Auckland and Wellington. I did go to school in Auckland but only Ana was old enough to go to school when we lived in Wellington. Kind regards, from Rawiri
Hi Chloe, It Chloe-Rose From Awahono I like How you have added what side of the road to drive on when you are in new Zealand. next time instead of taking a screen shot of your work you could embed the code if you don't know how to do that I can show You some time.
